The firm further expands its market leading tax law group

Tamás Fehér joins the firm after having worked at the Budapest office of Cameron McKenna for 12 years. Tamás is an internationally acknowledged tax lawyer. In addition to his tax advisory work he is also the author of several publications in the area of international tax law. Tamás will play a key role in the continously growing tax litigation practice of the firm. In addition, he will also participate in tax structuring projects both in the fireld of income taxes and VAT.

Tamás commented on his move as follows: „The outstanding tax law background of the firm highly motivated my decision. While this new position will be a challenge to me, it will definitely serve my professional growth. The friendly, yet highly professional athmosphere of the office has also grasped me.”

At the end of May, Péter Barta also joins the tax law group of the firm as a trainee lawyer. Péter gave up his career at Ernst & Young in order to join Jalsovszky Law Firm.

Péter is a great talent and a potential rising star. This is proved by his results at tax competitions and by the fact that he could become a respected member of an international advisory firm’s tax team within a few month’s time. His commitment and hard-working attitude is also reflected by his parallel LL.M.and PhD studies.
